Call forwarding on iPhone in India

The quickest supported setup depends on the carrier, SIM and forwarding condition. A one-tap shortcut still needs carrier confirmation.

Choose the right forwarding condition

Unconditional forwarding sends every eligible call to the destination. Conditional forwarding applies when you do not answer, are busy or unreachable, where the network supports it. A reject action may be treated differently across carriers.

On dual-SIM iPhone, choose the intended line. Apple documents carrier-dependent call-forwarding controls; those controls alone do not prove conditional AI-assistant routing.

Jio and Airtel

Jio provides forwarding controls through MyJio and its published carrier instructions. Destination restrictions and an active recharge plan may apply. Use the official Jio instructions for activation and deactivation.

For Airtel, use its current support guidance or carrier settings for your line. Do not assume a generic GSM code works on every network. LessRings will only mark a carrier/device shortcut validated after a live test.

Test and undo it

Use the assigned assistant destination, then test from another phone. Confirm that no-answer calls produce a conversation and summary. Test your normal calls and voicemail as well.

Keep deactivation instructions before enabling forwarding. If you stop using the assistant, disable forwarding and prove it is off from another phone. Deleting an app does not send a carrier deactivation request.
