How an AI call assistant works
Your number stays yours. Eligible unanswered calls travel through your carrier to your assistant.
1. Verify your number
Enter your mobile number and the verification code sent by the service. Choose the carrier and SIM line you want to set up. Contacts are optional; SMS inbox and passwords are not needed.
A developer local preview uses practice verification. It does not prove ownership of a real SIM or activate live phone coverage.
2. Enable conditional forwarding
The service assigns a destination number after coverage is ready. Follow the instructions for your carrier and selected condition: unanswered, busy or unreachable where supported.
A button may open the dialler or carrier app, but returning to LessRings is not proof forwarding succeeded. Calls from family, clinics and delivery partners can also meet the condition.
3. Prove it with a second phone
Call your mobile number from another phone and leave the call unanswered. Confirm that the assistant answers, ask it to repeat the test phrase and check that the transcript and summary reach your account.
Only the observed test can mark setup complete. Test both SIM lines separately if needed, and check what happens with voicemail and Wi-Fi calling.
4. Review or take over
Read the live conversation, give an instruction or request a supported transfer. An instruction marked queued has not yet reached the conversation. A transfer request is not a connected call.
Read the summary after the call ends. Verify important details before acting: speech recognition and AI can make mistakes.
